Erika Arce-Romero

Erika‘s mother came to the United States to provide her children with a better future. Her story motivated Erika to advocate for those who sought protection in the United States. Erika interned at CAIR Coalition, where she focused on assisting noncitizens facing deportation. Afterwards, as a CALS law student representative, she represented a client seeking asylum. In addition, Erika volunteered for The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights, where she learned of the high demand for advocates to represent children. As an IJC Fellow at KIND, Erika advocates for children who seek refuge in the United States.
