Halinka Zolcik

Halinka’s previous work experience includes a variety of criminal law internships, including a job as a court clerk for two years. Furthermore, for the past two years Halinka has worked as a student legal intern/student director of the International Human Rights Clinic in Laramie, WY. The passion she developed for immigration and human rights law while working at the Clinic led her to apply for this fellowship. Halinka’s host organization is Prisoners Legal Services of New York, where she works with immigrants who are detained in one of New York’s many prisons for a criminal conviction.
