Throughout law school, Ricky dedicated himself to assisting underprivileged New Yorkers. He interned with the New York Legal Assistance Group, Manhattan Legal Services, and CUNY’s Economic Justice Project, where he helped low-income individuals with end-of-life planning, public benefits, housing, employment, and immigration matters. Ricky also volunteered with CUNY Citizenship Now, where he assisted immigrants with their naturalization applications. Lastly, at CUNY’s Immigrant & Non-Citizens Rights Clinic, he represented immigrants in asylum and removal proceedings. Ricky is honored to work at Staten Island Legal Services, where he continues to advocate for immigrants seeking asylum in the United States.
