Jacob Brescia-Weiler

Jacob is from Washington, D.C. and graduated from Tufts University in May 2017 with a degree in Psychology. His passion for immigration advocacy developed during an internship at Project Citizenship in Boston, where he assisted immigrants with the naturalization process. After completing his undergraduate degree, he spent 6 months working at FM4 Paso Libre, a Casa de Migrante in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico providing comprehensive humanitarian aid to Central American migrants in transit. He is eager to offer immigration legal assistance to underrepresented communities, especially given the current climate of xenophobia in the United States. He is placed at El Centro del Inmigrante in Staten Island.
