Before law school, Nora worked as a legal assistant in the areas of federal public defense and the rights of incarcerated people. During law school, her internships focused on post-conviction relief as well as fines and fees work, and criminal and immigration defense in a public defender office. She also participated in NYU's Immigrant Rights Clinic and Advanced Immigrant Rights Clinic. These experiences led her towards immigration law and to IJC in particular. At her host organization, the Bronx Defenders, she will be contributing to the immigration work that forms part of the organization's holistic defense.
