Abby brings a wealth of social justice experience to the IJC. They have served as a Student Clinician at University of California, Irvine School of Law’s Immigrant Rights Clinic and International Justice Clinic, a Legal Extern at the Haitian Bridge Alliance, and a Legal Intern at the ACLU Jails Project. Abby’s passion lies in leveraging international law and mechanisms to enhance advocacy for domestic immigration issues. Their commitment to human rights work has led them to the Immigrant Defenders Law Center where they will defend unaccompanied minors in removal proceedings. They are dedicated to providing trauma-informed, client-centered lawyering, ensuring that each individual’s unique needs and experiences are respected throughout the legal process. Abby joins the Immigrant Defenders Law Center to ensure that no immigrant is forced to face an unjust immigration system alone.
