Fatima graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor’s in International Studies. She was a Cleveland Foundation Public Service Fellow at Global Cleveland, whose mission is to serve the immigrant and refugee community in Northeast Ohio. There she built an Immigrant Resource Guide that will live on the City of Cleveland website. Her passion for immigration advocacy and desire to work in the legal system is driven by her personal experience as a DACA recipient from Honduras and her community’s experience with the immigration legal system. Fatima is placed at the Center for Safety and Change where she is gaining hands-on experience in their Immigration Legal Department before attending law school.
