Having immigrated to the U.S. as a child, Isabel went to law school wanting to serve immigrants like herself and her family. At Harvard Law School, she worked at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and the Crimmigration Clinic, where she worked in direct representation and civil rights litigation. Prior to law school, Isabel got her M.Sc. in Migration Studies at Oxford University. As an IJC Fellow at Building One Community in Stamford, Connecticut, Isabel will be representing unaccompanied minors.
