Julia has extensive experience in Michigan’s nonprofit sector, supporting individuals with immigration, housing, public benefits, and family law issues. She worked at Michigan Immigrant Rights Center on the Crime Victims Legal Assistance Project and in the Michigan State University Immigration Law Clinic, handling U-Visa, T-Visa, asylum, and related cases. Now, as an IJC Fellow, Julia returns to Michigan Immigrant Rights Center on the Unaccompanied Children’s Team, merging her interests in family and immigration law. As a recent graduate from the Michigan State University College of Law, Julia is excited to begin her legal career by continuing to help Michigan immigrants.
