Passion, Dedication, and Courage

Welcome Class of 2019!

In an annual tradition honored since 2015, we celebrated the new Fellows at a dinner hosted by board member, Steve Kuhn. During the event, the 2019 Fellows generously shared why they chose Immigrant Justice Corps to start their careers. They spoke with deep passion, dedication, and courage. For all of the Fellows, this work is personal. They have joined us to stand up for their communities. They will be the skilled advocates that their families never had. They are with IJC to bring dignity and hope to every client they encounter over the next two years.

In these uncertain times when quality counsel is needed more than ever, the Fellows are an essential element towards ensuring some modicum of fairness in an inherently unfair immigration system. Together with our Fellows already in the field, the Class of 2019 embody IJC’s commitment to access to justice, hope for the future and the courage to stand up for what’s right.
