Victor Cueva Milla is the Fellowship Director at Immigrant Justice Corps. In previous roles, Victor served as a Legal Director, Managing Attorney, Pro Bono supervising attorney and Senior Staff Attorney at a few notable immigration legal services organizations including Neighbors Link, The Center for Safety and Change, Catholic Charities Community Services Archdiocese of NY, and the Workers Justice Center of NY. Victor first joined IJC in 2015 as a Justice Fellow and has spent his legal career providing quality direct legal representation in underserved immigrant communities.

Victor was selected as a NY Bar Diversity Fellow during his first year of law school in 2013. He was chosen as a Rising Star by the Hispanic Coalition of NY in 2017. He was appointed to serve as Legislative Counsel for the Ulster County Legislature in 2021. He was recognized by county, state, and federal politicians for his commitment to representing immigrants throughout the Hudson Valley in 2022, and he was inducted into the SUNY Ulster Alumni Hall of Fame in 2023.

Victor received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Albany. He was born and raised in Lima, Peru and is a native Spanish speaker. As a former undocumented immigrant, he brings his lived experience and many years of community lawyering, to the mentorship of advocates and building programs to increase access to justice for underserved immigrant communities.
