Alyssa has a strong background in legal advocacy, particularly in immigration law, honed through her experience at the Center for Justice Reform Immigration Clinic and the Environmental Justice Clinic at Vermont Law and Graduate School. Alyssa’s work involved client advocacy, court appearances, and detailed case documentation. Her clinic experience, coupled with her Albert Schweitzer Fellowship project on food security, demonstrates her commitment to social justice and community service. At North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic, Alyssa will focus on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) work for unaccompanied children, continuing her dedication to supporting vulnerable populations.
