Amanda joins IJC from Quinnipiac University School of Law where she was a member of the Civil Justice Clinic and externed at two Connecticut Immigration Coalition member organizations. Prior to law school, Amanda served as Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs to Governor Ned Lamont. She previously worked at Yale School of Management and continues to serve as an Associate Fellow at Yale College as college advisor to first-generation and low-income students. Amanda is thrilled to carry the vision of universal representation forward at New Haven Legal Assistance Association where she will provide free legal counsel to clients seeking immigration relief.
