A love of world languages and a desire to build bridges in a time of walls led Ben to work as a paralegal at a private immigration firm and then at a refugee resettlement agency. During law school at the University of Connecticut, Ben participated in the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic, served on the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal, and interned at New York Legal Services as well as Yale Law School’s Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic. As a Katzmann Fellow at New York Legal Assistance Group, Ben will represent New Yorkers facing removal proceedings and pursuing affirmative immigration relief.
