Cassandra joins Immigrant Justice Corps from Roger Williams University School of Law where she was a member of the RWU Immigration Clinic and externed for Committee for Legal Counsel Services in New Bedford MA Public Defenders office. Cassandra also spent a summer with Catholic Social Services as an immigration intern. Cassandra’s passion for immigration began after her summer with Catholic Services. Her desire is to make a difference while helping children with immigration needs. Prior to law school, Cassandra attended University of New Haven where she obtained a BS in Criminal Justice degree with concentration Criminal Investigations and completed her paralegal certificate. Cassandra is looking forward to joining the Children’s Legal Center of Chicago, where she will be working under the Unaccompanied Children Program, providing legal services to unaccompanied children in removal proceedings.
