After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in 2017, Cedar worked with Minnesota schools and nonprofits to provide youth with community resources. In 2020, she began her studies at the University of Minnesota Law School, where she concentrated in Immigration Law. She served as a student attorney in the Detainee Rights Clinic and clerked with a local immigration firm before graduating in 2023. As a Fellow, Cedar will work with The Advocates for Human Rights to provide unaccompanied minors in Minnesota and the Dakotas with legal representation for immigration proceedings.
