Chi comes from a mixed-status family, which has continuously exposed her to the immigration system. During law school, she worked as an immigration and family law clerk, served as the former president of both the Black Law Student Association and Caribbean Student Bar Association, and mentored at-risk BIPOC girls. After law school, Chi continued gaining experience in immigration while also obtaining a Master’s in Social Work. She is devoted to serving vulnerable and marginalized communities to advance social justice and human rights. Chi is enthused to work with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where she will primarily represent unaccompanied children.
