Clara is a recent graduate of Bowdoin College with a degree in Government and Legal Studies and Hispanic Studies. She received high honors for her senior thesis entitled “Policy Making, Decision Making, and Advocacy: The U.S. Asylum System Since 9/11.” Clara’s work is informed by a passion for immigration justice and is supplemented by her Spanish language abilities. She is excited to return to Central American Legal Assistance as a Community Fellow after a wonderful internship experience there in 2023. As a Community Fellow, Clara will utilize her knowledge of immigration-related applications, the immigration court system, and immigration justice gained through her thesis and her internship experience.
