As a student attorney with Minnesota Law’s Federal Immigration Litigation Clinic, Coryn has seen our country’s punitive and dehumanizing immigration laws directly harm individual lives and families. She hopes to help dismantle current systems that unjustly criminalize noncitizens and feed into the “deportation machine.” As an IJC Fellow with the Prisoners’ Legal Services of New York, she will represent noncitizens facing removal at the agency and federal court levels. Ultimately, Coryn aims to help families remain united, and realize greater justice and stability for our country’s many communities of noncitizens.
