Daniel Andrade was introduced to immigration law through his mother, a practicing immigration attorney for over 30 years. From a young age Daniel knew he wanted to follow in his mother’s footsteps and represent the immigrant community. Daniel participated in a course which gave him the opportunity to witness first-hand the migrant-refugee situation at the U.S./Mexican border. Daniel went on to participate in the Deportation Defense Clinic in which he was able to represent clients in a complex matter and secure his first legal victory. Daniel now represents unaccompanied children at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy by beginning their immigration defense proceedings.
