Dara cemented her passion for immigrants’ rights during law school, during which she partook in Seton Hall Law School’s Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights clinic and served as co-president of the Immigration Law Society. Dara also interned with Seton Hall Law’s Detention and Deportation Defense Initiative, the ACLU of New Jersey, and the Legal Aid Society’s Immigration Law Unit – New York Immigration Family Unit Project, where she assisted in the representation of both detained and non-detained noncitizens. Dara is very excited to be serving as a UCP Fellow with Catholic Charities in New York City, where she will represent unaccompanied minors.
