As an immigrant from Colombia who arrived in the United States at eight years old, Darcy knew firsthand the importance of having quality immigration representation. Darcy always knew she wanted to pursue a career where she could give back to her community, which is why she decided to pursue a legal career. During her time at Hofstra Law, Darcy became involved in the Deportation Defense Clinic and had the opportunity to intern at Catholic Charities of New York, Make the Road NY, and was a Pro Bono Scholar at CARECEN. As an IJC Fellow, Darcy looks forward to providing legal representation to unaccompanied minors at Make The Road NY.
