As a child and grandchild of immigrants raised in Miami, Florida, Destiny’s worldview is shaped and created by those who came before her and remain the guiding force in her pursuits. Destiny’s professional endeavors are driven by her passion for immigrant rights and include prior work with a low-bono immigration firm, an immigrant workers’ rights non-profit, and immigration legal services. Destiny looks forward to continuing to serve immigrant communities like her own. She will work with unaccompanied children with the PAIR Project throughout the course of her fellowship.
