Prior to joining IJC, Diana was a Fellow at the Vera Institute of Justice researching alternatives to policing and language access. Diana previously interned at the Community Development Project at Urban Justice Center providing direct housing services and assisting undocumented communities. While attending John Jay College, Diana worked with the Women’s Center for Gender Justice focusing on access to reproductive justice for undocumented and formerly incarcerated students on campus. She has also worked with Make the Road New York, conducting Know Your Rights workshops in schools in her community. Diana is placed at the New York Public Library in the Bronx, where she conducts screenings and work on adjustment of status and green card renewal cases.
