In Ezra’s second year at St. John’s School of Law, he took a survey course in immigration law—and knew from day one this was the area of law he would practice in. That summer, he interned in Legal Aid Society’s Immigration Unit. As a third-year student, he participated in the Refugee and Immigrant Rights Clinic, partnered with Catholic Charities. Experiencing the struggles and rewards of helping clients navigate a complex immigration system only confirmed for Ezra that this was where he needed to be. So, he is eager to work with Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy helping unaccompanied children.
