Geovanna is the oldest of six and the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. In law school, Geovanna externed for the Honorable Jesus G. Bernal in the Central District, worked with the UC Davis Immigration Clinic, and interned for the UC Immigrant Legal Services Center. She also served as a Board Member for the Immigration Law School Association and Managing Editor for the Immigration and Nationality Law Review. She has a deep passion for immigration law and aspires to be a zealous advocate. Geovanna will be a fellow with the American Bar Association’s Immigrant Justice Project providing removal defense assistance.
