James (“Jimmie”) went to law school to pursue a career in immigration law. While at the University of Minnesota James worked with the Binger Center for New American’s Detainee Rights Clinic and volunteered for the Asylum Law Program placing hundreds of 1L students with organizations around the country to gain immigration experience. Their 2L summer James worked for the Immigration Project, and they are thrilled to continue working with their team as an attorney. They are extremely grateful to the Immigration Justice Corps for providing this opportunity.
