Before starting law school at American University Washington College of Law, Jazmin was an AmeriCorps member working with Childfund International in the Rio Grande Valley where she had the opportunity to work with children who faced a vast range of issues including immigration issues that directly affected them or their immediate family members. While in law school, Jazmin worked as a student attorney in the Gender Justice Clinic representing clients whose cases were at the intersection of gender justice and immigration. Jazmin is excited to be joining Catholic Charities Community Services where she will represent unaccompanied minors in New York City.
