Jonathan Vallecilla has lived in Rhode Island since he immigrated to the United States with his mother at the age of four. He has an Associates Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island, Bachelor’s Degree from Rhode Island College. At Roger Williams School of Law he participated in the school’s Immigration Clinic, the Pro Bono Eviction Help Desk Project, and interned at the Office of the Rhode Island Public Defender. Jonathan was a 2019 New Leaders Council Fellow for the Rhode Island chapter. As an IJC Justice Fellow, Jonathan will be working at the South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project (ProBAR) post graduation.
