Jonathan Vallecilla has lived in Rhode Island since he immigrated to the United States with his mother at four. He has an Associate’s Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island, a Bachelor’s Degree from Rhode Island College, and a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. At Roger Williams School of Law, he participated in the school’s Immigration Clinic, the Pro Bono Eviction Help Desk Project, and interned at the Office of the Rhode Island Public Defender. Jonathan was a 2019 New Leaders Council Fellow for the Rhode Island chapter. As a Justice Fellow, Jonathan is excited to work at the South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project (ProBAR).
