Julia’s commitment to immigrant justice is fueled by her admiration for her parents, who bravely navigated the complex immigration system. Julia’s experience includes a range of roles including serving as a Case Manager at the Hudson Valley Community Coalition, interning at the Mexican Consulate, and working as a paralegal. While in law school, Julia volunteered conducting legal research at her local Plaza Comunitaria and participated in the UCONN Law Asylum and Human Rights Clinic. As an IJC Fellow at the Central American Legal Assistance, Julia looks forward to representing asylum seekers and continuing her work advocating for immigrant justice.
