Prior to law school, Julia worked at a neighborhood social services organization for low-income immigrants called Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. During law school, she spent three semesters working with humanitarian status-seekers in the Harvard Immigrant and Refugee Clinical Program at Greater Boston Legal Services, and in other positions, gained experience lawyering for workers’ rights. As an IJC fellow, Julia will support people who are building power in immigrant and working class communities by providing immigration legal services at Make the Road New Jersey.
