Prior to IJC, Lorena worked as an immigration paralegal, focusing on deportation defense and asylum representation. During law school, she interned at the UC Immigrant and Legal Services Center, Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, the Immigration Law Clinic, and participated at her school’s Humanizing Deportation Practicum. As a Justice Fellow, Lorena looks forward to applying everything she learned to representing immigrants at Catholic Charities – San Francisco.
