As a law student, Lorraine dedicated her academic studies and practical experience to immigrant justice and international human rights. Over the course of two internships, she worked with migrant clients seeking immigration assistance and labor protection at the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center and the Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, respectively. She also participated in the Northeastern University School of Law’s immigration clinic practicum, working on defensive applications for asylum and withholding of removal. Lorraine now looks forward to joining the International Rescue Committee as an IJC Fellow representing unaccompanied minors.
