Born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Mana grew up immersed in her family’s migration experience. Prior to law school, she worked with migrant and low-wage workers throughout Pennsylvania at Justice at Work PA. During her time at Temple Law, she continued pursuing her passion for immigrants’ rights through various roles, including at law school clinics, ACLU PA and the Florence Project. As an IJC fellow, Mana will continue her work at Nationalities Service Center, where she will be assisting Afghan asylum-seekers and other evacuees during their resettlement in Philadelphia.
