Micaela is a Drexel Law graduate who is passionate about ensuring equal access to high-quality representation for immigrant and refugee populations. She has extensive experience in direct client services, serving Philadelphians at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Legal Assistance, Community Legal Services, and Nationalities Service Center during her time at Drexel Law. As Pro Bono Coordinator of Drexel’s Immigration Law Society, she spearheaded student pro bono work in El Paso, TX with Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center. Micaela will be joining Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center as a UCP Justice Fellow, providing legal aid to unaccompanied children in removal proceedings.
