Nathaly’s passion for serving immigrant communities comes from her family’s experiences, inspiring her pursuit of a career in immigration law. During law school, she interned at Kids in Need of Defense and the Rutgers Immigrant Rights Clinic, where she worked with a diverse range of clients, including unaccompanied minors, asylum seekers, and individuals facing deportation. Actively involved in the Immigrant Rights Collective, she assisted with DACA renewals through Make the Road New Jersey. Nathaly also contributed as an asylum application assistant at the American Red Cross. As an IJC Justice Fellow, Nathaly is thrilled to begin her immigration career at the New Jersey Consortium for Immigrant Children, where she will provide legal representation to unaccompanied minors seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and asylum.
