Nicole Carter graduated from University of Minnesota Law School in 2024 with concentrations in immigration law and human rights law. Her experience in immigration law includes representing asylum seekers through UMN’s Immigration and Human Rights Clinic and Detainee Rights Clinic, interning with the National Immigrant Justice Center and the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program, and clerking for Karam Law, P.A. Nicole is looking forward to joining Community Immigration Law Center as a Fellow this Fall, where she will work with detained noncitizens, represent individuals applying for humanitarian relief, and assist with intake clinics.
