Rafaella has had the opportunity to work at many different immigration organizations. In undergrad she volunteered with the Right to Immigration Institute, as well as Greater Boston Legal Services in the immigration law unit. While in law school, Rafaella took advantage of every opportunity to learn more about immigration law. She worked at Tahirih Justice Center, the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, and she participated in an asylum clinic at Georgetown where she represented an asylum seeker in immigration court. Rafaella was the Editor-In-Chief of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal, as well as the Co-Director of the Georgetown Law chapter of the International Refugee Project. As an IJC Fellow, Rafaella will be working at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark with Unaccompanied Minors.
