Sadaf’s passion for immigration defense is grounded in her experiences of growing up in a South Asian and Muslim immigrant community in Brooklyn. Before law school, Sadaf investigated labor rights violations of migrant domestic workers in Jordan as a Fulbright Scholar and led fundraising efforts at Global Fund for Women. While at CUNY School of Law, Sadaf was a student attorney with the Immigrant and & Non-Citizen Rights Clinic, the CLEAR Project, and IRAP. She also interned at Takeroot Justice and the Legal Aid Society. Sadaf will be joining the Immigrant Community Action Project at Brooklyn Defender Services.
