Born in Medellin, Colombia, Sara Cano Zuleta has been immersed in the field of immigration since she was brought to the United States as a young immigrant. Her interest in being an immigration attorney grew through her personal experiences with the system, and she centered her law school experience on gaining exposure to various sectors of immigration law, including victims of crime, asylum petitions, and family immigration. In the fall, Sara will be working as an attorney with the Children’s Program at the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project in Phoenix, Arizona.
