During her 2L year of law school, Sarah was part of the Immigrant Rights Clinic at her law school for two semesters. There, she represented two clients in immigration trials and worked on some appellate cases. She also interned for the SPLC her 2L summer where she represented immigrants in detention. Her experiences showed her that she wanted to work in immigration defense. As a fellow, she will be working with Advocates for Immigrant Rights in Tennessee, where she will mainly be working on detention and removal defense.
