Sho is from Tucson, Arizona, where she and her parents received citizenship in 2015. Her identities informed her experience at Amherst College, where she served and advocated for Asian American and first-generation and/or low-income students. After her internship at the Asian American Federation, working with immigrant small business owners in Flushing, she sought direct services work to connect people to the resources they need. Sho is eager to start her career dedicated to her own and other marginalized communities, and later pursue a law degree after the fellowship. Sho is placed in the MinKwon Center for Community Action to provide in-language legal services in Flushing.
