Stephanie is the child of Colombian immigrants. Stephanie is interested in the conception of borders and the role the U.S. plays in migration. Stephanie graduated from Rollins College with a BA in International Affairs and Emory University School of Law with a Juris Master in International Human Rights Law. At Rollins, Stephanie volunteered with the National Farm Worker Ministry, advocating for immigrant farm workers. At Emory, Stephanie volunteered with the school’s, and Asian Americans Advancing Justice’s, immigration clinics. Stephanie has interned at Al Otro Lado, Project South, and Central American Legal Assistance. At The Door Stephanie will provide legal assistance to asylum-seeking youth.
