Talia joined IJC in August 2023 as Communications Coordinator. Talia supports critical functions that will enable IJC to grow its audience, engage with stakeholders, and optimize efficiency. She assists in managing IJC s social media channels, developing marketing collateral, and supporting recruitment and fundraising efforts.
Talia’s background is in journalism, most recently as an education reporter with The Montclair Local in New Jersey. While at the newspaper, Talia cultivated relationships with sources, collaborated with a small team, and worked with the audience to source and pursue story ideas. In 2023, Talia was awarded first place in education writing by the New Jersey Press Association.
Talia has worked in newsrooms across the world, covering breaking news stories, conducting investigations and creating social media strategies. Talia received a B.A. in Storytelling and New Media at William & Mary.
