After working with a volunteer organization assisting undocumented high school students as a college freshman, Tim realized quickly that his calling would involve assisting immigrants in some capacity. Through future positions in New Mexico, New Jersey, and New York, his passion for immigration work only grew. Aware of IJC for years, Tim went through law school working towards a fellowship that would refine and direct this passion into good, impactful legal work for those who need it. Tim is excited to begin work with Safe Passage Project in Hicksville, NY, providing legal assistance to unaccompanied children in Long Island.
