A look at 2025 Fall Training
Our 2025 Class of Justice Fellows wrapped up their Fall Training last week, after a month-long crash course on immigration law. The Fellows started the training intensive with a few days in New York City — an opportunity to meet IJC staff and other Fellows while exploring the city. The rest of the month was spent learning, with multiple training sessions each day. Sessions focused on detained removal defense, providing trauma informed services, how to work with supervisors, and more. The Fellows also took part in a mock hearing and learned about IJC’s different departments.
The Fellows will soon begin working at their host organizations, and we are so excited to watch them settle into their roles and begin representing clients.
