Working as a victim advocate motived Alejandra to go to law school. Once in law school she knew she wanted to devote time to practicing immigration law as part of her career because as an immigrant who navigated the immigration process, it was important to her to pay it forward. That’s is why Alejandra is honored to be working with the Galveston-Houston Immigration Representation Project to help unaccompanied minors have access to legal representation.
