Allison worked as a student attorney at Touro Law Center’s Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic, representing clients in deportation defense cases and completing policy projects. Witnessing the lifechanging impact that securing lawful status had on her client inspired her to pursue a career in immigration law. Allison also served as Chapter Director of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) at Touro and advocated for immigrant’s rights as a Public Interest Law Fellow at the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU). She is excited to join the team at Lutheran Social Services of New York (LSSNY) where she will represent unaccompanied children in New York City.
