After working with DACA and naturalization applicants for several years as an accredited representative, Alyssa decided to attend law school so that she could address some of the more complicated legal issues and systemic barriers her clients faced. Her work in law school largely focused on youth, women, and members of the LGBT+ community. She has been fortunate to work with Safe Passage Project, Sanctuary for Families, the Legal Aid Society, Bronx Defenders, and her school’s Asylum Clinic. Alyssa will be working at The Door, where she will represent young individuals with a wide range of immigration applications.
