In law school, Amy focused on human rights in Latin America and worked in Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. She has also assisted immigrants in obtaining public benefits and addressing housing issues as a paralegal at Inner City Law Center and Public Counsel in Los Angeles. As an IJC Fellow, she is excited to address the current human rights crisis in our immigration system by advocating for individual clients. She will be joining the Florence Immigrant Rights Project, as one of the first IJC Fellows in Arizona.
